Need

Located at Lakeland Linder Regional Airport in Lakeland, Florida, Sun 'n Fun is a unique complex dedicated to aviation. Its signature event is the annual Sun 'n Fun International Fly-In and Expo, which attracts thousands of aviation enthusiasts for six days of airshows, educated forums, workshops, exhibits and camaraderie. The president of Sun 'n Fun wanted an inspirational-themed video to capture the essence of both the complex and the event, which could be posted on a variety of platforms.



Solution

Equipped with a wish list of imagery that would resonate with the script we developed during the discovery meetings with the client, our production team conducted all shooting and interviews over five days of the expo. The skill and experience of the team especially came into play while shooting the complex aerial footage, which required steady, flawless tracking of aircraft traveling at more than 200 mph.


Results

The video, "Where Dreams Are Born," is a tribute to the spirit of aviation and the love of flight that unites pilots. It was posted on the client's website, as well as other platforms, to promote Sun 'n Fun and this exciting annual event.
